You are invited to the 2020 Libertarian Party of Nevada State Convention! Credentialing begins at 9 am and the Call to Order will be at 10 am. Join the fastest growing party in the state to celebrate our dramatic growth in voter registration and hear about how you can get involved. At this Convention, you will be able to:

1. Make changes to the Libertarian Party of Nevada Bylaws - see the latest text copy here, and download a PDF here.

Please email State Secretary Lou Pombo at [email protected] with your Bylaws Amendment Proposals at least 7 days in advance of the Convention (no submissions after Saturday, February 21st). No Bylaws Proposals will be accepted from the floor of the Convention - only germane changes to previously submitted amendment proposals. NOTE: You must be a dues-paying member to participate in this part of the Convention ($60 or more donated from February 28, 2019 - February 29, 2020). You can donate now by clicking here.

2. Select our Candidates for Partisan Public Office.

At this convention, the Libertarian Party of Nevada shall select its candidates for partisan public office, such as Congress and state legislative offices, as well as any local partisan races that were not selected at our county conventions. NOTE: You must be a registered Libertarian Party voter in the State of Nevada. 3. Hear Reports from all 7 members on the Executive Committee about the work they have accomplished this past year with your help.

Of particular interest is the annual Treasurer's Report (Tim Hagan), detailing the explicit income and expenditures of the Party, as well as the State of the Party address by the Chairman, Jason Smith. You will also hear a report from Vice-Chairman David Colborne, Secretary Louis Pombo, Northern Regional Representative David Jones, Southern Regional Representative Debra Caren Payne, and At-large Representative Robert Van Strawder. 

You can also volunteer at the Convention - sign up at a shift below. From 8a - 9a we need people to help us set up the Convention room, signs, banners, etc. From 9a - 10a we need people on the Credentialing team, assisting with the photographer, and greeting people as they arrive to become a credentialed delegate.
