The Libertarian Party of Nevada is populating our Endorsement Committee. The Endorsement Committee is comprised of 15 members and 5 alternates. The Committee members will conduct their independent research on each of the Candidates and ask them questions at our events. Upon completion of the events, the Endorsement Committee Chair will gather all the endorsements and grade and the results will be published in our 2016 Libertarian Voter Guide.

Format - Why "Speed Dating?"

Our goal is to meet with as many candidates as possible in determining endorsements and grades. Most organizations do not get one-on-one interaction with the candidates, we feel this is important.

Endorsements and Grading

Non-Partisan candidates will receive either a positive (thumbs up) or negative (thumbs down) endorsement from us. Partisan Candidates will receive a grade of 1 to 5 stars 1 star being not very Libertarian and 5 stars being very good in regards to their position on issues important to Libertarians.

2016 Libertarian Voters Guide

The results of our Speed Dating events will be published in our 2016 Libertarian Voters. The 2016 Libertarian Voter Guide will be disseminated through all available marketing channels to ensure Nevada voters are aware of our positions and bring additional awareness to each of the Candidates.

• In 2014, our Voter guide received over 40,000 downloads, was shared heavily on social media and other organizations used Voter Guide as a resource for their candidate endorsements and recommendations.

Announcing the Endorsements

The 2016 Libertarian Voters Guide will be published and sent out before early voting. In addition, we have a huge event scheduled to celebrate the Candidates endorsed by us. Nevada voters will be encouraged to reference our 2016 Libertarian Voter Guide to assist with selecting the best Candidates who promote Libertarian ideals and further support our issues.

Do I Qualify for the Committee?

In order to qualify for the committee you must agree or meet the following:

1. Have a good understanding of Libertarianism.
2. Be available for at least one full day of endorsements.
   1. Committee members must show up at least 30 minutes before the event(s) begin.
   2. Complimentary Lunch, food & beverages will be provided.
3. Dress professionally and represent the Libertarian Party of Nevada in a professional manner.
4. Attend the mandatory endorsement committee training event.
5. Conduct your own independent research prior to the event(s).
