Former light heavyweight champion Ron Johnson scored a stunning victory in the boxing ring last night.  The Libertarian Party’s own Ron Johnson faced off against contender Warren Brockie at the Fort Belknap Casino in Harlem, Montana.

Ron Johnson Scored a knockdown in Round 1, two knockdowns in Round 2, and 2 more knockdowns in Round 3.  After Round 3’s second knockdown, the referee had seen enough punishment and called the fight off.

The Libertarian Party of Nevada has been rooting for Johnson ever since he announced his boxing comeback months ago following the LP Nevada State Convention.  “I feel great,” Johnson said, “It feels so good to be back in the ring and it's been a long time coming.”

The winner also commented on what a great year 2016 has been for the Libertarian Party so far.  “We’ve got Ron Johnson back in the ring, Gary Johnson gaining steam in the national polls, and lots of people joining the Party.  It’s all good!”
