David Colborne is an At-Laerge Representative of the Libertarian Party of Nevada and previously served as their Secretary & Northern Regional Representative.

David Colborne, a resident of Reno, originally joined the Libertarian Party as a member of the College Libertarians at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has been a consistently active member of the Libertarian Party of Nevada since 2008. David also ran for Washoe County Commissioner, District 2, in 2010 and received over 4% of the vote. His run, along with Thomas Cornell's candidacy for State Senate District 1 during the same season, were the first local partisan Libertarian candidates to appear on the ballot in Reno since 2006.

After the Executive Committee of the Libertarian Party of Nevada dissolved all county-level Libertarian Party chapters in 2011, David created and organized the Comstock Libertarians (http://www.facebook.com/groups/106048372020/) with the help of the few local libertarians in Reno that were still interested in furthering the goals of the Libertarian Party. Together, with the help of additional supporters along the way, David and the Comstock Libertarians helped turn Gary Johnson into front page news in Reno, put together a number of successful campaign events, and ultimately secured over 1.2% of the vote for Gary Johnson in Washoe County.

Outside of activities with the Libertarian Party of Nevada, David also serves as the IT Manager for the Career College of Northern Nevada and a father of two sons. He is also an enthusiastic ghost town hunter and has marched in the past four Goldfield Days parades.
