Field Development Division

The Field Development Division shall be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining county-level affiliates, which shall mirror and augment existing Libertarian Party of Nevada Divisions at the county level. This shall include identifying eligible counties with sufficient critical mass of dues-paying members to establish an affiliate, training counties on best-of-breed Libertarian Party of Nevada division management techniques, and providing necessary logistical support.

Field Development Division general responsibilities:

  • Develop Count Affiliates. Re-affiliate & develop county Libertarian Party affiliates.
  • Training and Support. Provide training and support to county affiliates to create a sustaining party.
  • Candidates. Support local candidates and local issues.
  • Membership. Assist the county affiliates increase overall party membership.

Field Development Division Committees:

  • Field Development Committee. General committee for affiliating county level Libertarian affiliates. Maintain and update a field manual for the Field Development Division.

 

Positions, Job Descriptions & Requirements

 

Field Development Director

Job Description: The Field Development Director shall be responsible for the oversight of the Field Development Division. The Director shall be responsible for assisting all affiliates in any way possible and shall encourage the creation and growth of Libertarian county affiliates. The Field Director may also work with state wide and national LP candidates.

Principle Accountabilities:

  1. Responsible for establishing and populating all necessary committees as well as recruit and appoint all leaders within the Field Development Division.
  2. Mentor and lead all other members of the Field Development Division.
  3. Identify county leaders and establish Libertarian county affiliates.
  4. Communicating and supporting county Chairs and Officers to assist them with growing their Libertarian county affiliate.
  5. Acting as a liaison between county affiliates and the state affiliate.
  6. Maintain a profile on each county affiliate and monitor growth.
  7. Draft a plan for the state to affiliate all counties.
  8. Oversee the drafting and publishing of the Field Development Division field manual.

  • xperience building organizations/businesses.
  • Personable, professional, and amiable attitude.
  • Experience in project management and great time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple high stress assignments.
  • Sincere commitment to work with all constituent groups including all other staff, board members, and volunteers.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial.
