Libertarian Party of Nevada announces the results from Executive Committee meeting.
LAS VEGAS, Nevada, June 15, 2011 ― The Libertarian Party of Nevada (LPNevada), the Libertarian Party is America's third-largest political party who believes in minimum government and maximum freedom, announced the results of their May 29, 2011 Executive Committee meeting.
The LPNevada Executive Committee (ExCom) had their regularly scheduled meeting held telephonically on May 29, 2011 at 8:00PM PST. The agenda included:
· Pahrump Town Board Member Mike Darby was appointed as Outreach Coordinator to Pahrump. Along with wife Sandy Darby (who serves as Central Regional Representative on the LPNevada Executive Committee), Mike will help lead LPN outreach to Pahrump and greater Nye County.
· David Colborne (Northern Regional Representative on the LPNevada Executive Committee) was appointed Event Coordinator for the LPN outreach at the Liberty Political Action Conference (LPAC2011) in Reno, Nevada September 15, 2011- September 18, 2011. The presence of LPNevada at the LPAC2011 will be used to generate membership and additional interest in the Libertarian Party. For more information please visit: http://www.lpac2011.com/
The following items were resolved:
· Mike Darby was appointed as the Nye Coordinator for LPNevada. Mr. Darby will be working closely with the LPNevada to build membership for the Libertarian Party in Pahrump and throughout Nye County. Mr. Darby currently serves on the Pahrump Town Board as a representative from the Libertarian Party. MR. Darby’s wife, Sandy Darby (Northern Regional Representative on the Executive Committee of the LPN), will also be working with the LPNevada in Nye County.
· In addition, the ExCom appointed Mr. Colborne to manage and represent the LPNevada at the Liberty Political Action Conference (LPAC2011) in Reno, Nevada September 15, 2011- September 18, 2011.
