Interested in representing Nevada at the Libertarian National Convention? We have a few slots available for Delegates and if we fill up our Delegation we will find other Delegations to place you in. The goal is for ANYONE from Nevada who wants to participate in our Nation Convention can!

The purpose of National Conventions are to select the leaders of the Libertarian Party, vote on Bylaws and our National platform. This is all known as the "business session."

You should attend because YOU can help shape the future of the Libertarian Party with your vote on important items. The main reason to go to the National Convention is to network with other libertarians from across the Country and hang out with other people trying to build the party in their area.

Convention Information

The 2014 Libertarian Party National Convention will take place over the last weekend of June at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The convention will officially kick off with the "Welcome" Reception on Thursday evening, June 26, with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, as well as entertainment. Attendance to this reception is included in all packages.

The business sessions will begin the following morning (right after the Keynote) and run throughout the day on Friday and Saturday until Sunday afternoon. (The credentialed delegates actually set and modify the business agenda.)

Concurrent with the business sessions, there will be a track of breakouts, where you can hear more great speakers on a wide variety of topics.

The Libertarian State Leadership Alliance (LSLA) which is commonly referred to as the "State Chairs Alliance" is hosting affiliate training which is free and open to all members. Libertarian Party of Nevada State Chair, Brett H. Pojunis, will be conducting the training on Affiliate structure and fundraising. Alicia Mattson who is also from Las Vegas, NV is an Officer of the LSLA and has been very involved setting up the training.
